Surf

At Solid Surf Camp and Hostel, you'll enjoy four uncrowded breaks on El Transito Beach. With consistent conditions year-round, it's a perfect spot for training. You can also explore nearby breaks in Miramar and Puerto Sandino. During the dry season (November-March), expect starry nights with no rain. In the rainy season (May-October), mornings bring sunshine and epic thunderstorms in the afternoon. The biggest swells occur from April to June, while the smallest are in January and February. Offshore winds are usually constant from November to April. The ocean temperature averages around 30°C, with January and February being the coolest months.

Solid Surf Nica offers authentic Nicaraguan accommodations that cater to a range of budgets. Choose from their private rooms, featuring 1 Queen/King bed and 1 Single bed, with or without air conditioning. Although you can't see the beach from your bed, a quick step outside allows you to enjoy the view. Each private room has a lockbox for keeping your valuables secure. Alternatively, the dorms accommodate 5 to 7 guests, with the option of air conditioning. Rest assured with a private entrance and lockbox for your belongings.
